I honestly can't believe that I am having to type this twice. It will never be exactly as I typed before, but I hope I can do it justice.
I watched the movie Julie & Julia last night (yes, on New Year's Eve) and it made me inspired. Inspired to start a blog. Julie starts a blog and cooks through Julia Child's cookbook, 500 some recipes in 365 days. I thought to myself, I want to start a blog. To write about what, I do not know, but maybe putting my thoughts down, or in fact, allowing my thoughts to escape through my fingers, will do something for me. I am a mother, I work part-time and I work for my husband. Most days, like most mothers, end for me in exhaustion when my head hits the pillow.
When I was a child, I had diaries. I loved crawling into bed at night to "tell" my diary of the day's events. I loved it then, so why not now? Why not? I needed a New Year's resolution and this will be it. Today is January 1, 2010 and I am resolving to give myself the luxury of telling my life to my new-found diary.
